BUILDING A LEGACY OF SUPPORT
The Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association (KSAA) is a private nonprofit organization that exists to organize and participate in educational, social, and cultural programs that reach, connect, and engage the Kamehameha Alumni ʻohana while supporting the core mission of Kamehameha Schools and the Pauahi Foundation.
The Association was officially founded in 1922 when seven alumni of the Kamehameha School for Boys petitioned the treasurer of the Territory of Hawai‘i to charter the Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association. Almost one hundred years later, KSAA has evolved and spread to 15 regions across Hawai‘i and the continental United States.
This site is exclusive to the East Hawaiʻi Region, which covers the geographical area from Laupāhoehoe to Nāʻālehu on Hawaiʻi Island.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Micah Alameda, KSH'06
The Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association, East Hawaiʻi Region, is all about community, and our membership is a celebration of that community.
We are honored to be part of every Kamehameha alum’s journey, from the moment they step on campus until long after departing our hallowed gates.
Our region will soon announce convenient changes to our membership program that help us better serve all KS alumni in our area. Please stay informed by signing up for email updates and notifications.
I Mua!
PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
The purposes of the Association are to advocate the perpetuation of Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop's legacy, to cultivate the vision of the Kamehameha Schools, and to promote and foster lōkahi among the Kamehameha ʻohana.
The objectives of the Association are to partner in and support programs of benefit to the health and the civic, economic, educational, and moral welfare of the community at large, the Hawaiian people, and the Kamehameha Schools; to preserve and perpetuate the native culture of Hawaiʻi, and to promote the exchange of information between the Kamehameha Schools and the Alumni Association.
